Taking a deep breath does incredible things. But how often do you actually remember to do it?

what it does

Small moments, regularly

  • Interrupt stress patterns
  • Reconnect with the body
  • Create micro moments of calm
  • Regulate the nervous system
  • Feel more physically present throughout the day

how it works

Set it once, forget it

Choose a reminder interval — every 30, 60, or 90 minutes — and set your active hours. Willy sends a gentle notification at each interval. Take one conscious breath, and continue your day. Everything runs locally on your phone, offline, with nothing to set up beyond that.

the willy technique

Four phases, one breath

A breathing method that creates an immediate sense of calm by activating the vagus nerve — your body's natural stress off-switch.

TRY IT NOW:

1. Belly out

Breathe in through your nose. Let your belly fill first.

2. Chest up

Keep breathing in. Let your chest rise.

3. Hold and feel

Pause. Hold. Notice the relaxation.

4. Release

Breathe out slowly through your mouth. Chest first, then belly.

why willy

Willy was born out of a simple personal need.

I love deep breathing. I know what it does for the body and mind. But somewhere between meetings, emails, and the general noise of the day — I kept forgetting to do it.

So I built a reminder. Something gentle, non-intrusive, that would nudge me a few times a day to just stop and take one conscious breath.

While exploring different breathing techniques, I kept coming back to one — the belly-first, chest-expanding method that activates the vagus nerve. Of everything I tried, nothing worked as quickly or as reliably for an on-the-go reset. You feel the difference immediately.

That became the Willy Technique.

Willy is not a wellness platform. No big promises. Just a quiet companion — reminding you, a few times a day, to come back to yourself. You won't be asked how you feel. You'll just feel it.

One conscious breath at a time.
